RACK CITY RIBS 

Rack City Ribs, one of the most hyped traders in London right now, the brainchild of American-born, Jamaica-raised Keon Cilly! His Caribbean influence shows itself in various rubs, spices and a generous way with the chilli-boosted sweet-sticky sauces. But the barbecue underneath is solid Americana.

FLACO WALKING TACOS

Flacos Walking Tacos are a street food common in New Mexico and Texas! Flacos Walking Tacos will be using fresh taco fillings served up in real Fritos or Doritos! New Mexicans say Teresa Hernandez invented it in the 1960s at the Santa Fe Woolworth’s, ladling her mother’s homemade red chili into opened corn chip bags, without any garnishes or additions. Texans, meanwhile, claim that the dish, complete with onions and cheese, was invented in San Antonio in the 1930s by Daisy Dean Doolin, the mother of the Fritos inventor. Flacos Walking Tacos thank both of them!

Bucket List 

The Bucket List started back in 2017, part time on Overstrand Beach, with Head Chef Nathan Boon of a nearby hotel always wanting to start his own business. Nathan felt like this was the gap in the market he had been waiting for with the idea being inspired from long days in the kitchen and combining any of the fresh sauces or recipes that had been created, with the ever versatile chip to feed himself and the kitchen team. Combining that with a couple of trips to Europe, experiencing the emergence of street food markets.

WALLOP SMASH BURGERS

After moonlighting in my spare time at various burger joints in London, I crafted my trade and learned what made a burger so bloody good! Simplicity is at our core; everything is prepared fresh, in-house, and to order! Burgers are about the beef. We use rare-breed, grass-fed beef from small farms in the UK. It’s dry-aged and cooked when you order.

Jus’ Winging It

One of the hottest new wing traders in the UK, and the best part, they’re flying the flag for the East of England, based out of Lowestoft, this team is completely smashing it right now! Bringing some really exciting flavours to the game, we can’t wait to welcome them to the Food Festival!

 

K-DOGGY DOG 

Straight from the streets of Seoul comes the ‘K-dog’ – the fast food that went viral on TikTok. Check out what all the fuss is about with this list of seven of the top spots in town to get Korean corn dogs in London.

Imagine this – a sausage or mozzarella cheese on a stick wrapped in batter – deep-fried to give it an enticing, golden-brown crisp shell, then drizzled in a sauce like ketchup, mayo or mustard. You take the first mouthful, and the melted cheese oozes and spills over your tongue – pure heaven in your mouth we say. The ‘K-dog’ has massively increased in popularity over recent years,

After our time in the city of Adana in Turkey, we became obsessed with Turkish and Middle Eastern cuisine, namely Adana Kebabs! This dish consists of long, hand-minced meat, mounted on a wide iron skewer, and grilled on an open mangal filled with burning charcoal! We brought it back to the UK to serve up using original spices, recipes, and quality meat!

Flaming Coop serves up Nashville hot chicken sandwiches and strips, bringing the heat and flavor of Nashville to your plate! Our chicken is marinated, breaded, and fried to perfection, then coated in a fiery hot sauce.
