New Mexicans say Teresa Hernandez invented it in the 1960s at the Santa Fe Woolworth’s, ladling her mother’s homemade red chili into opened corn chip bags, without any garnishes or additions. Texans, meanwhile, claim that the dish, complete with onions and cheese, was invented in San Antonio in the 1930s by Daisy Dean Doolin, the mother of the Fritos inventor. Flacos Walking Tacos thank both of them!

It’s dry-aged and cooked when you order.

This dish consists of long, hand-minced meat, mounted on a wide iron skewer, and grilled on an open mangal filled with burning charcoal! We brought it back to the UK to serve up using original spices, recipes, and quality meat!
